Sharing our love of LEGO with the Southland region to help children & their families
The primary purpose of the Lego Users Group of the Southern Region is to engage with the AFOL and TFOL community within the LUG and communicate with other LUG‘s throughout New Zealand and the world. This allows us to share ideas, creations and enthusiasm with the LEGO® fan community.
As part of a world-wide network of LUG groups, we have been privileged to be officially recognized by the LEGO® Group in late 2015, meaning we became an RLUG. This recognition gives us access to a network of information and resources from within the LEGO® Company and other LUG groups that helps us to achieve our aims. Secondary to this aim is to share our hobby with the public and in so doing to raise funds for charitable uses within our region with a focus on children with medical challenges. LUG South achieves this aim by putting on Brick (LEGO®) Events across Southland and Otago..
